Troubleshooting Login Issues - Authenticating Screen

If you are experiencing issues accessing the controller login page, the problem may be related to an incorrect or outdated URL.

Symptoms

  • You are unable to access the login page
  • The URL contains “/app/callback”
  • The page does not load correctly or redirects unexpectedly

Cause

This issue commonly occurs when:

  • The login page has been bookmarked incorrectly
  • An outdated or redirected URL is being used

Solution

Step 1: Use the Correct Login URL

Ensure you are accessing the controller using the correct link:

 https://uptimecontroller.com/app/login

Step 2: Check the URL

If your browser shows:

/app/callback

Manually remove “callback” so the URL reads:

https://uptimecontroller.com/app/login
 

Step 3: Update Your Bookmark

If you have saved the page as a bookmark:

  1. Delete the existing bookmark
  2. Create a new bookmark using the correct URL:

    1. https://uptimecontroller.com/app/login

       

Additional Notes

  • This issue is most often caused by outdated bookmarks
  • Using the correct login URL should resolve the problem immediately.
