How do I create a service request?

UptimeHealth allows you to easily request a job. This can be done directly from the Device management section or within the individual device record.

There are two ways to request a repair on your device in UptimeController. We have outlined them all below.

  2. Method 2: Through the Device record

Method 1: Through the Devices section

  1. Select the Devices section in the left-hand menu.

  3. Identify the device you would like to request service for. You can do this by filtering or searching through the pages.
  4. Click the three dots on the right hand side of the device row and select "Request Service" from the drop down menu.
  5. A work order will appear with all the important information already pre-populated. If you have a preferred service technician, their information will also be pre-populated here.
  6. Fill out the Description of Issue and Priority, to alert the technician what problems you are facing.
  7. Select the purple "Create Request" button.

An email with all pertinent information will be sent to the technicians. The technician can then update the work order and communicate updates to you through the work order.

Method 2: Through the device record

  1. Select the Devices section in the left-hand menu.

  2. Identify the device you would like to request service for. You can do this by filtering or searching through the pages.
  3. Select the Asset ID of the device.
  4. Select the "Request Service" button in the top right corner.
  5. A work order will appear with all the important information already pre-populated. If you have a preferred service technician, their information will also be pre-populated here.
  6. Fill out the Description of Issue and Priority, to alert the technician what problems you are facing.


  7. Select the purple "Create Request" button.

An email with all pertinent information will be sent to the Technicians. The technician can then update the work order and communicate updates to you through the work order.
