      How do I re-enable access to the camera and microphone after accidentally blocking them?

      If you accidentally blocked access to the camera, microphone, or location on your device, you'll need to reset your browser permissions. See below depending on your device.

      Instructions

      Reset Permissions in Chrome on Windows:

      1. Open Chrome Settings:

        • Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of Chrome.
        • Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.

      2. Access Privacy and Security:

        • In the left-hand menu, click on "Privacy and security."
        • Select "Site Settings."

      3. Adjust Camera, Microphone, or Location Permissions:

        • Under "Permissions," click on "Camera," "Microphone," or "Location."
        • Find the website where you accidentally blocked access.
        • Click on the dropdown menu next to the website and select "Allow."

      4. Refresh the Page:

        • Go back to the tab where you need to use the camera, microphone, or location services.
        • Refresh the page to apply the changes.

      Reset Permissions in Safari on Mac:

      1. Open Safari Preferences:

        • Click on "Safari" in the top menu bar.
        • Select "Preferences."

      2. Go to Websites Tab:

        • In the Preferences window, click on the "Websites" tab.
        • Select "Camera," "Microphone," or "Location" from the list on the left.

      3. Change Permissions:

        • Find the website in the list on the right.
        • Use the dropdown menu next to the website to select "Allow."

      4. Refresh the Page:

        • Go back to the tab where you need to use the camera, microphone, or location services.
        • Refresh the page to apply the changes.
